Week 9: Techie ME

I got the idea for this when I heard this quote in a video about technology...

"Studies show that the attention span of the average adult today is one second lower that that of a goldfish".

I've noticed it myself... when I have to sit and wait for someone, I can't just sit there and relax... out comes my phone! It is something I am really trying to work on. I don't want to miss all the amazing things going on around me!

This is up there for the craziest thing I've done to get a shot. I went to a local aquarium and there was a ton of people there. I actually had to take a number! When my number was called I told the guy "I have a strange request. I need a shot of a goldfish in a typical fish bowl for a photography project I'm working on. I saw you have goldfish and you have these bowls here. I was wondering if you would be willing to put a goldfish in one of these bowls for me, to let me take some shots?"

He let me do it!! Not only that, but he let me go in the back with him and pick out the goldfish I wanted to use! It was a bit awkward, since a lot of people stopped to see what I was doing, and the guy watched me the whole time to make sure I wasn't stealing the goldfish(?!), but I'm proud of myself for doing it.
