Week 29: ME & Food
Watermelon! Is there any food that you associate as much with summer/fun/memories as watermelon?! I can picture me and my cousins as kids sitting on my grandparents back porch, our feet dangling over the side, eating watermelon and spitting the seeds into a bucket. I can hear my grandpa laughing and showing us how far he could spit seeds. This summer, I've been buying lots of watermelon, and the three of us have been enjoying it on our back deck. I wish so badly that I had photos like this of my grandpa and I eating watermelon on his porch, but I'm so happy to have these with my son, eating watermelon in Jim's new shed. (Funny, that I see every new room/structure as a new photo opportunity!!)
