Week 35 Theme: "ME & Fear"

I've been thinking a lot about this subject lately and hearing a lot about it also. Funny how once things are on your radar, you keep noticing them over and over.

I decided to look up the definition of Fear...

NOUN
  1. an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat:

"drivers are threatening to quit their jobs in fear after a cabby's murder" ·

synonyms: terror · fright · fearfulness · horror · alarm · panic ·

VERB
  1. be afraid of (someone or something) as likely to be dangerous, painful, or threatening:

I thought that was pretty interesting. No where in that definition does it say "likely to make us look like a complete loser/idiot who doesn't have a clue what we are doing", and yet that is often what stops us from doing the things we want to do, right?

So, what does fear mean to you? What are you most afraid of? What would you do if fear didn't exist?

Also, this would be a great week to tackle one of your personal photography fears. Always post your feet and not your face? Never post a full body shot? Afraid to take a certain photo and tell a story that shows a vulnerable side of yourself? Always hide behind your kids in photos? Let's conquer our fears this week! We got this.
