Week 14: Silly ME (Member Photos)
Being silly on command is no easy task! Kind of like when I'm taking a photo of my son, and he says "Mom! Make me laugh!" Oh, the pressure! When people ask me to tell them a joke, my mind goes completely blank. So, I appreciate all the members of this project being silly, whether it was forced or spontaneous.
"If you are not willing to look stupid, nothing great is ever going to happen to you". Dr. Gregory House
Shanna Aitken - It took three of us to get the shot! And lots of treats!
Kortney Fox- I had important things to do this weekend, but my car was in the shop. I had to borrow my daughters' convertible. Can you believe the rabbit speed is faster than a parked semi?!?!
Adriana Meixner- My kids definitely bring out the silly in me which I just love cause it keeps me grounded but they were at school today so I had to improvise. I picked up these scrumptious donuts this afternoon (sugar rush anyone?!) and was enjoying them so much I had to include them in my post this week! Now off to enjoy my mint chocolate and jelly donuts! www.adrianameixner.com
Emily Ingalls- I thought this week would be easy, but it turned out not to be. I can definitely be silly, but it's more of random silliness than documented. I love laughing and having fun, but I enjoy it a lot more when it's spontaneous. I'm Spontaneously Silly! Anyway, I enlisted them help of my oldest 2 to encourage me to be a little more silly since they are both definitely crazy, silly. www.emilyingallsphotography.com
Ellen Anne- Generally, I'm silly when I am trying to impress other people. With my babies it works well ... in other situations - not so much!!! www.facebook.com/ellenannephoto
Tricia Machel- I feel like I have a silly side that is often hidden. But every once in a while, I enjoy showing that side, especially with my little girls. So, we started our Friday off by pulling things out of the dress-up bin and having a few minutes of goofiness together. I will always cherish photos like this.
Tasha Coates- Silly me
Sara Lowing-Wright- This is no ordinary chair we are in. We are on Fart Island. Yes, that's right, Fart Island. I have two boys and have come to learn sometimes you have to resign yourself to fart, poop, and penis talk. There are times it drives me mad. I mean, how many fart noises can you hear in a day?! This is our chair we read in at night and sometimes we fart in it, hence the name fart island. If you can't beat them, join them. (insert fart noise here)
Elena Pendell- My 8 year old thinks this one is super silly.
Briar Marie- I am...not very silly. I have a very strong sense of humor and I appreciate silliness in others, but I just don't have a lot of it going on personally. I bet there are people that would disagree with that because I'm a happy person full of laughter and smiles but... I am really uptight! I don't mean to be like that, but I'm very ordered. Maybe it's the engineering nature in me? I don't know, but most of my actions have very specific purposes. Silliness is... silly. But there is one thing. When I asked my boys to help me think of something silly that I do, they all said it was silly when I chase them upstairs like a zombie. And I'll confess...it has a purpose other than laughter and silliness. When it's nap time, I turn into a zombie and chase them upstairs tickling them when I capture them. And the routine of it gets them to go to nap under their own power. And even joyfully. And every Mother knows, there's nothing silly about that. But I guess if it feels silly to everyone playing, then it's silly enough. Briar Marie Photography
